Ultra CPU VPS are back in stock

Ultra CPU plans are back in stock. New capacity has been deployed in our German location, and orders are open again as of today.

These plans have been sold out for the past five months. Demand ran well ahead of what we could supply, and rather than oversell the hardware we kept ordering closed until the new nodes were installed.

What makes Ultra CPU different

Ultra plans run on AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D (4.2–5.7 GHz) with dedicated vCPU cores. Nothing is shared: the cores you pay for are reserved exclusively for your virtual machine. Flex plans, by contrast, use shared vCPU – a good fit for smaller projects, but performance can vary when neighbouring machines get busy.

The clearest illustration of this is CPU steal time. On Flex plans it can reach 10–50% under load, meaning a noticeable share of your compute is going to other virtual machines. On Ultra it stays at 0–2%.

Benchmark results

We ran identical tests on Flex-M and Ultra-M plans, both on Ubuntu 24.04. Note that the Ultra server in this comparison has fewer cores than the Flex one:

In practice this means roughly double the performance in single-threaded work and about 50% more under multi-threaded load – faster page rendering, faster database queries, faster CI/CD pipelines and builds.

Who it's for

Ultra CPU is built for production workloads where predictable performance matters: high-traffic websites, databases, CI/CD runners, game servers and media processing. If your project has outgrown a shared vCPU, this is the upgrade.

As with all our VPS: KVM virtualisation with full kernel access, unlimited traffic, up to 250 Mbps per machine, free backups twice a week, and L3–L4 DDoS protection with no attack volume cap. Existing customers can upgrade from a Flex plan by contacting support in the client area.

Stock is limited. If Ultra CPU is what your project needs, we'd suggest not waiting this time.
