How to Download and Upload Files to Minecraft Hosting

What do you need to perform file operations?

1. Access to the control panel jugar.majorcore.com. Login details can be found in the email related to service activation, as well as in bill.majorcore.com, under the "Instructions" button.

2. If you plan to work with files via FTP/SFTP, you need to download a suitable client to your computer. We recommend FileZilla.

3. Access to SFTP. Connection details can be found in the same email related to service activation (previous point), as well as in the game hosting control panel jugar.majorcore.com, under the "Settings" tab. IMPORTANT! The SFTP password ALWAYS MATCHES the password for jugar.majorcore.com, – this means that if you changed the password in the control panel, then the SFTP password was automatically changed to the same one!

How to upload files through the control panel

1. Prepare your files by placing them in an archive. Formats .zip, .rar, .tar, .tar.gz are acceptable.

2. Log in to the control panel jugar.majorcore.com.

3. Go to the "File Manager" tab and click the "Upload" button:

4. Select the pre-prepared archive with your game server setup and confirm the upload. Wait for the archive to finish uploading to the hosting.

5. Next to the uploaded file, click on the three dots [1], then click "Unarchive" [2]:

6. If all server files appear in the archive folder, you can simply turn on the server. If files were placed in a folder, navigate to it:

7. Select all files by clicking on the corresponding checkbox [1] and click the "Move" [2] button:

8. In the popup window, type "../" and click "Move":

9. Now your files have been moved to the root directory of the server – where they should be. Go there too:

10. Done! Files are uploaded. You can delete the archive and the folder containing the unpacked files. Don’t forget to specify the server core name in the "Startup" tab and you can start the server!

How to download files through the control panel

1. Log in to the control panel jugar.majorcore.com.

2. First, turn off your game server – this is important to avoid losing any unsaved files during the download:

3. Go to the "File Manager" [1] tab and click "Create directory" [2]:

4. In the window, type any name for the folder; in the example, we used "download":

5. Select all files by clicking on the checkbox [1]. Now click on the checkbox [2] next to the folder you created in the previous step and click the "Move" button [3]:

6. Enter the name of the folder you created in point 4 (in our case, this is "download") and click "Move":

7. If you did everything correctly, all files were moved to the folder you created and only that folder will remain. Next to it, click on the three dots [1] and then on the "Archive" [2] button:

8. Wait for the archive creation to finish. Refresh the page a few times and if the size of the created archive does not change, then it can be downloaded. If the size changes, wait until the archiving process is fully completed.

9. To download the archive, next to its name click on the three dots [1] and select "Download" [2]. After the archive has been downloaded to your computer, unpack it with the appropriate archiver.

How to upload files via FTP

We recommend using the control panel for file operations, as it is simply more convenient and faster. You can upload a folder with the server without archiving via FTP, but this will take much longer, as transferring hundreds or thousands of files will take much more time than a single archive. You can upload the archive via FTP and unpack it through the panel if for some reason the upload via the control panel didn’t work.

1. Connect to FTP.

2. Drag the files or folders you want to upload to the area on the right side of the screen:

3. Done, files uploaded.

How to download files via FTP

We recommend using the control panel for file operations, as it is simply more convenient and faster. You can download server files without archiving via FTP, but this will be much longer as transferring hundreds or thousands of files will take significantly more time than a single archive. You can create an archive using the control panel and then download it via FTP if for some reason the download via the control panel didn’t work.

1. Connect to FTP.

2. In the left window, navigate to the folder where you want to save the files.

3. Drag the files or folders you want to download to the area on the left side of the screen:

4. Wait for the download to finish.

5. Done, files saved to your computer.
